Hire information

The Citadel is available to hire for events, exhibitions, for hourly and half day sessions. Preference is given to those events that promote cultural opportunities for our community, particularity those associated with performing and visual arts, and a 20% discount provided to those who are members of Creative Caldera. (see links page to join this organisation).

Please see the calendar for likely availability and then click here to download the hire form-scan and email through to citadel.murbah@gmail.com. Once the committee have approved the booking, and payment has been made, the site calendar is adjusted to show a confirmed booking.

 

For events that will be selling alcohol, OLGA requires alcohol licences to be arranged 28 days in advance of the event-so booking of The Citadel has to be done at least 28 days prior to keep within this time frame. Please see the links tab for related information.

Art exhibitors can negotiate the hire fee if they are willing to exhibit concurrent to other events/meeting/conferences that may be held in the same space at the same time.

Facility information;

We have available a large hall with a stage and a separate refreshment area/meeting room. (see photos) These areas can be hired out separately or together.

Available for hire; chairs and trestle tables, projector and white board.

Catering services can be hired for events. Please fill out the quote form if you would like us to organise this.

**Depending on the nature of the event a larger bond may be requested. The bond may be forfeited if an alcohol licence has been refused or event cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the booking date, given other opportunities to hire the hall will have likely been lost.
